Job Summary/Description:
WCSC is looking for a Senior Photojournalist to join our award-winning news team. We are looking for a candidate who excels in shooting and editing video, as well as someone who can assist with quality control and mentoring young videographers. The position includes solo work as well as working with reporters and anchors on live shots, investigative content, and special projects.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Shooting and editing video solo or with a reporter

Gathering information on scene

Setting up and operating live shots solo or with a reporter

Becoming drone certified

Maintain role in training MMJs and photographers on cameras, related gear, and LiveUs

Monitor photographer & MMJ performance in videography, editing, and live-shot quality, give feedback

Ability to fill in on other shifts as needed, including weekends.

Other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Shooting at a commercial television station experience preferred

Satellite truck operation experience preferred

Valid Driver's license and good driving record required
