Deputy/Lead Editor

Information is Beautiful is seeking a freelance Deputy Editor to lead Beautiful News. This remote, part-time role (about 3 days per week) invites an editorial all-rounder to shape, research and publish data-driven stories while lightly supporting other projects.
You’ll collaborate directly with founder David McCandless on ambitious, socially impactful visuals and narratives. Expect flexibility, asynchronous collaboration and a fast-paced editorial rhythm.
