Communications Manager

Senior Communications Manager, CorporateEpic is looking for an experienced communications professional to join our corporate communications and international team. In this role you will create and execute communications plans around high stakes policy, legal and regulatory developments, that impact Epic and the video game industry at large.What You'll DoCreate proactive and reactive communications strategies on priority policy, regulatory and legal developments, such as online safetyPartner with the public policy team on impactful public affairs campaigns globally to build understanding of and support for our products and safety approachesPartner with Epic's Trust and Safety team on storytelling around our industry-leading approach to online safety and product featuresWork with cross-functional teams to develop proactive storytelling opportunities around Epic's business, products, and technology in Latin America and CanadaEducate external stakeholders including third parties and media about Epic's public policy and regulatory prioritiesEstablish and maintain relationships with journalists globally including technology, business and policy media on behalf of EpicBe part of the team that manages Epic's rapid response efforts, working in fast-paced environments to address issues with players, consumers, and policy makersWhat We're Looking For7+ years of experience in communications or public relations, preferably a mix of in-house and agency and/or political organizationsExperience driving communications and advocacy strategies around complex public policy issuesExperience working on rapid response with internal stakeholdersExperience managing global agency partnersA succinct and creative writerSomeone who is people-focused, passionate, solutions-focused, and innovativeA proactive problem solver, with strong instincts for when to escalate issuesA team player who's collaborative, supportive, and celebrates others' winsCommunications skills, written and verbal, are stellarExperience working on online safety in gaming, tech or online platforms is a bonusAbout UsEpic Games is a leading interactive entertainment company.
