Little Giant Ladder Systems | Springville, UT (On-site) | Reports to the CEO
About Little Giant Ladder Systems
Little Giant Ladder Systems is a category-defining manufacturer of innovative, safety-engineered ladders and climbing products, sold through leading retail and industrial distribution partners including Lowe's, Ace Hardware, Costco, Grainger, Fastenal, HD Supply, and Global Industrial, as well as direct-to-consumer channels. As we continue investing in brand growth and marketing sophistication, we're creating an elevated Chief Marketing Officer role to lead our next chapter.
The Opportunity
This newly elevated executive position reports directly to the CEO and sits on the executive leadership team. The CMO will lead a marketing team spanning video production, digital marketing, graphic design, and brand management, with a mandate to drive sales channel growth, build brand awareness, and strengthen our market position across consumer and industrial/professional segments.
This role is ideal for a marketing executive who thrives at the intersection of brand-building and commercial rigor — someone who can elevate how we show up in the market while partnering effectively across the leadership team.
What You'll Do
Own marketing strategy end to end — development, execution, and continuous refinement across every channel.
Define and elevate our brand positioning, voice, and market presence across DTC, Amazon, retail, and industrial/professional channels.
Lead by example as a hands-on leader who works alongside the team, not just from the sidelines.
Partner with Sales as a peer function to align marketing collateral, sales assets, and go-to-market execution.
Modernize the marketing function, including analytics and AI-enabled workflows.
Serve as a full member of the executive team, informing company-wide strategy and investment decisions.
Partner with Finance to plan and approve the marketing budget, building the analytical rigor to demonstrate brand investment value even where direct attribution is limited.
Bring customer insight and market trends to R&D to inform product roadmap decisions.
How You'll Operate
Lead from the front, on-site in Springville five days a week.
Keep a regular cadence with the CEO and executive leadership team.
Report on results, not activity — with metrics tied to brand and channel performance.
Own decisions on brand, campaigns, and resourcing.
Stay close to the work, reviewing creative and performance directly with your team.
Build recurring rhythm with the SVP of Sales and the CFO.
What You Bring
10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally in consumer products, hardgoods, or building products.
A track record of building and elevating brand strategy and market position, not just running campaigns.
Experience leading and developing a multidisciplinary marketing team.
Comfort operating where a majority of revenue flows through retail/distribution and direct attribution is limited.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Sales and Finance, without needing direct authority.
Retail, trade, and channel expertise, including point-of-purchase (POP).
Executive presence and judgment as a trusted member of a CEO's leadership team.
Working fluency in how AI is used in modern marketing organizations.
Private equity experience strongly preferred.
Tools & Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Graphic Design required (Master's preferred). Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Salesforce required; Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and Wrike (or similar) preferred.
Location
This is an in-office position at our Springville, Utah headquarters — this role is not remote and not hybrid.
