As a Technical Writer, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.ResponsibilitiesCreate and review ITD technical products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency.Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems

etwork operations, testing, and user documentation.Write and edit technical documentation for all project hardware and software requirements to include installation, configuration, how-to documentation, and end-user guides.Standardize documentation by creating and implementing templates for all document types.Ensure that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields.Amend draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text.Ensure proper classification markings in accordance with provided guidance.Work with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and negotiate further revisions as needed.Maintain a document library to enable ease of document storage, retrieval, updates, and review.Participate in special projects as required.Required QualificationsEducation: BA/BSExperience: 8 years of relevant experience.Technical SkillsKnowledge of the principles and practices involved in technical research, writing, and editing.Knowledge of and ability to use various word-processing and desktop publishing software applications.Knowledge of the organization's products and services, customer requirements, purpose and structure of required documentation, and end user's level of understanding.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred QualificationsDesired Certifications: An IAT Level II certification is preferred.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
