The Lead, Brand Experience & Marketing supports revenue growth and brand visibility for the Jackie Robinson Training Complex by assisting with execution of marketing initiatives, social media, media relations, corporate partnerships sales, and ticket sales and operations. This role works closely with the Coordinator, Marketing. Retail & Brand Experience to translate strategy into execution. The Lead, Brand Experience & Marketing collaborates closely with the Lead, Retail & Marketing to ensure an engaging brand presence across social media, ticketing, retail, marketing activations, and event execution. This position is hands-on, event-facing, and plays a key role in driving revenue and delivering high-quality experiences for guests, partners, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities Assist in scheduling and creating content for advertising campaigns, utilizing both traditional, digital, and social media platforms
Serve as a primary contributor to the development and management of content for the JRTC’s social media channels
Create basic marketing graphics and internal and external signage as required
Generate sales leads through networking, outreach, and targeted email campaigns in alignment with the JRTC’s marketing strategy
Manage and archive facility/event photos and videos; serve as a primary contact for third-party photographers and videographers
Support community-facing and marquee events through strong on-site brand and guest experience education
Assist in the development and execution of on-site activations, fan engagement initiatives, and sponsor experiences that enhance the overall event atmosphere and audience engagement
Enhance brand visibility by facilitating media outreach, building relationships with key media contacts, and strategizing ways to secure media coverage
Sales & Corporate Partnerships Assist with sales of corporate sponsorships by identifying potential partners, securing agreements, and cultivating long-term relationships
Oversee the execution of partnership deliverables, ensuring sponsors receive exceptional service and measurable value
Prepare data-driven reports to showcase the effectiveness of partnerships, facilitating renewals and continued success
Ticket & Retail Operations Support Support the Coordinator, Marketing, Retail & Brand Experience with on-site ticketing operations during events, including will-call assistance, ticket scanning support, and guest flow coordination
Assist in development of ticket sales strategies and outreach
Support the Lead, Retail & Marketing with retail-related needs, including coordination during events, promotional tie-ins, and guest flow alignment
Assist with retail staffing coordination and issue resolution during high-volume events as needed
Collaborate on cross-promotional initiatives that connect ticketing, partnerships, and retail revenue opportunities
Event & Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute key events, such as the Jackie Robinson Day Game, the Andre Dawson Classic and other signature MLB and third-party events at the facility
Serve as an on-site point of contact for media relations and brand execution during MLB and third-party events
Qualifications & Skills A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent education and experience will also be considered1–3 years of experience in sports marketing, sales, or a related field is preferredPrior experience working in professional or amateur baseball is highly desirableA professional, self-motivated individual who excels both as a team player and working independently with minimal supervisionStrong ability to manage both personal and team time effectivelySupervisory experience of at least 1 year is preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Adobe Suite (Illustrator and InDesign) and/or Canva is preferredAbility to lift boxes and equipment up to 30 pounds as neededAbility to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidaysPossession of a valid Driver's License
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
