EloDesigns of Sarasota is seeking a skilled AV Technician who can confidently handle high-end AV installations and service calls. This role involves working with sophisticated systems like Lutron and Control 4. You will work with a team in the field, maintain high standards, and ensure that all work is done with precision and professionalism. All technicians, skilled and just learning, are given time to learn newest techniques from online training to inhouse training to ensure when advancement opportunities present themselves, you will be ready. This also ensures that when you are in the field, our customers are getting what they deserve, the best. Training and education is a priority for the company.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform AV installations including pulling wire, terminating cables, installing speakers, and mounting shades, along with troubleshooting, and quality control

Ensure all installations meet the highest standards, with a focus on clean, meticulous work

Mentor 2nd seaters and junior technicians, setting an example of professional conduct and craftsmanship

Travel to various job sites as required

Communicate with project manager

Skills and Abilities

Effectively communicate with colleagues and other trades on job sites

Ability to work and think independently to meet project deadlines

Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay composed in high-pressure situations

Willingness to learn and improve on your skills

Ability to use hand tools

Qualifications

2+ years experience as an AV Technician is required

Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent

Formal education in electronics or related field is a plus, but not required

Valid Driver's License and a clean motor vehicle record

Control 4 and Lutron is preferred

Physical Demands
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50lbs
