Ukiah Natural Foods Co-op is seeking a vibrant, enthusiastic, go-getter who will promote the co‑op through marketing, outreach and networking. The Outreach & Marketing Manager will develop and promote the stores marketing, branding and outreach programs in relation to the mission and vision.
We are looking to fill a full-time hourly position.
Requirements Qualifications: Passion for local food, healthy eating, education, community-building, and a cooperative, community-based approach to doing business
Manager/Supervisor experience
Experience in marketing, social media and outreach
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
Computer and technical knowledge, including social media
Familiarity with survey and email marketing tools
Experience with handling a department budget
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Web design, Excel, and Access
Proficient in Java Script,, Google Suite, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fantastic interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage different types of people (Current involvement in our local community is a plus)
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple, concurrent activities with short turn-around times with multiple internal and external customers
Familiarity with event planning and outreach
Familiarity with updating web content, WordPress, and web-based marketing
