Social Media SpecialistAerotek has an immediate opening for a Social Media Specialist at the corporate office in Hanover, MD. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Compensation: $58,700 - $73,400 + $5,500 bonus potentialJob Summary:The Social Media Specialist will manage Aerotek, Actalent and Aston Carter's social media presence to serve our customers, grow our online community and drive brand engagement. The ideal candidate will be a highly creative, tech-savvy individual who can bring a consistent brand voice and personality to our social channels; create and guide engaging content; and use data to continuously improve performance.Essential Functions:Manage Aerotek, Actalent and Aston Carter social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube, in a consistent voice aligned with the overall brand strategy and business objectivesCreate and produce original social content, including copy, partnering with the design team on graphics, and short-form videoBuild and manage a social content calendar, working closely with the Content Manager, PR team and other internal department leadsMonitor social channels for engagement opportunities, respond to comments and direct messages and moderate content to maintain a positive community experienceIncrease social followers and drive engagement through both organic and paid tacticsTrack key metrics evaluating online success and create reports on social media activities to show progress and communicate actionable insightsStay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, emerging social trends and competitor activity; and recommend adjustments to strategy accordinglyAct as a brand steward, ensuring all social and marketing materials align with brand voice, tone and visual guidelinesMinimum Education/Abilities/Skills:Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business or equivalent experience2-5 years of experience planning and creating social media content and conversations on behalf of a brand or organizationStrong collaborator; able to quickly track down answers for community questions and work with a diverse team to plan and execute social media plansCustomer–service oriented with a strong work ethicAbility to think both analytically and creatively on projectsOutstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle internal clients with tact and diplomacy and provide excellent customer service to clients and contractorsStrong, creative writerEarly adopter of new technologies and social networksAbility to be flexible and work with ambiguity; individual ownershipFamiliarity with social media monitoring systems, such as HootsuiteUnderstanding of Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, and LinkedIn AnalyticsSpecial Requirements:Preferred: Knowledge of Facebook advertising, LinkedIn advertising and Twitter advertisingPreferred: Knowledge and experience using Adobe Marketing Cloud (Omniture)Per Pay Transparency Acts: The range for this position is $58,700 - $88,100 + annual bonus potential of $5,500 Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
