Photojournalist / Editor

WRDE Coast TV is looking for a Photojournalist/Editor to help guide our expanding TV news product.
Need a person who can film and edit news stories for the daily broadcasts, work with a reporter or solo with guidance from management. Edits video in studio for newscasts and serves at times as a “booth producer” in the control room.
Responsibilities Filming and editing video, meeting deadlines, serves as public representative of the company with gathering news for broadcast.
Prior video or photography experience is ideal, including familiarity with Adobe editing software. Must be creative and enterprising when it comes to finding the “money shot” and edit video so it matches the script (and vice versa). Need to be the eyes and ears of the news station and can switch gears quickly and accurately. Must have a clean driving record.
We’re located on Delmarva, at the beautiful Delaware Beaches (only a couple of hours from Washington, Baltimore, and Philadelphia).

Status: Full-Time Hourly
Pay Range: $17.10/hr – $17.10/hr
