We are recruiting for a Full-Time Marketing andCommunications Coordinator to join our skilled team of pediatric professionalsin Marlton, NJ. This position isbenefit eligible.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing and CommunicationsCoordinator is a creative, hands-on member of the Marketing and Communicationsteam who helps bring the organization’s stories, services, people, and impactto life. This role supports marketing, communications, community engagement,and business development initiatives, with a primary focus on Voorhees Pediatric Facility and bothWeisman Children’s and Voorhees Pediatric Facilitiy’s Medical Day Careprograms. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will help capture andshare meaningful patient, family, staff, and program stories while alsosupporting the day-to-day marketing and communications needs of the department.
This position is ideal for anenergetic, thoughtful, and out-of-the-box thinker who enjoys storytelling,social media, photography, video, community engagement, and finding fresh ways to connect with audiences. The Coordinator should be comfortable payingattention to marketing trends, exploring new ideas, and helping theorganization push the boundaries of how healthcare services are communicated ina way that is creative, engaging, appropriate, and meaningful.
Working closely with the MarketingCommunications Manager, Director, internal team members, clinical and programstaff, graphic designers, and other partners, the Marketing and CommunicationsCoordinator helps create engaging content, support campaigns, coordinatematerials, and ensure that internal and external communications are clear,consistent, and aligned with the organization’s brand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, coordinate, monitor, and execute social mediacontent in collaboration with the Marketing Communications Manager andMarketing and Communications team.
Help develop marketing approaches that are engaging andmodern while remaining appropriate for a healthcare setting and consistentwith the organization’s mission, values, and brand.
Look for opportunities to enhance how the organizationconnects with patients, families, referral sources, staff, and thecommunity through visual content, storytelling, digital platforms, andemerging communication methods.
Create short and long-form video content for socialmedia, websites, internal communications, events, and other marketingneeds.
Identify, write, and support patient, family, staff,and program success stories in coordination with the MarketingCommunications Manager.
Collaborate with the Marketing Communications Managerand Director to test new content ideas, campaign concepts, andcommunication strategies that help expand awareness and engagement.
Create, coordinate, and update marketing andcommunication materials for department, program, and organizational needs.
Work with graphic designers, internal departments, andexternal partners to support the development of flyers, brochures, digitalcontent, presentations, event materials, and other branded resources.
Support website content updates for Voorhees Pediatric Facility andthe Medical Day Care sections of the Weisman Children’s website in coordination with the MarketingCommunications Manager.
Gather content, write, develop, and disseminateVoorhees Pediatric Facility’s newsletter.
Use a DSLR camera and other tools to capture photos andvideos for marketing, storytelling, events, and organizationalcommunications.
Help maintain a regular marketing presence at Voorhees Pediatric Facility andthe Medical Day Care locations by visiting sites, connecting with staff,gathering content, and identifying story opportunities.
Support marketing campaigns, outreach initiatives, andpromotional efforts.
Coordinate schedules, materials, logistics, andparticipation for public, community, and organizational events.
Engage with community members, partners, families, andstaff through various communication channels.
Conduct e-blasts and other targeted communications torelevant audiences.
Assist with webinars, virtual events, and presentationsas needed.
Participate in and support employee engagementactivities, internal events, and organizational initiatives.
Help maintain brand consistency across internal andexternal communications.
Monitor marketing material inventory and work with theDirector and/or Manager to maintain adequate supplies.
Order supplies for internal and external departmentneeds, track expenses, and work with Accounts Payable to ensure propercharge accountability.
Oversee the VoorheesPediatric Facility digital survey platform and assist with relatedreporting or follow-up as needed.
Assist with market research, competitive review,community awareness efforts, and evaluation of marketing initiatives.
Work occasional evenings or weekends to support events,community activities, or special projects.
Manage and execute additional projects and duties asassigned by the Director and/or Manager.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing,communications, public relations, journalism, media, digitalcommunications, or a related field.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Experience creating content for social media platforms.
Interest or experience in photography, video creation,and basic editing.
Creative thinker who enjoys developing new ideas andbringing them to life.
Strong organizational and time management skills, withthe ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Detail-oriented and able to follow projects throughfrom idea to completion.
Comfortable communicating with patients, families,staff, community members, and external partners.
Strong verbal communication skills and comfort speakingwith individuals or small groups.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to workindependently while also collaborating as part of a team.
Sound judgment and the ability to make thoughtfuldecisions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Customer service, sales, healthcare, nonprofit, orcommunity outreach experience preferred.
Video editing, social media management, emailmarketing, website content management, or graphic design experiencepreferred.
