Position Overview
Sandia Prep is looking for a Content Specialist to work with the Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Department. The Content Specialist will assist the Director and Associate Director of MarCom with copywriting, editing, and proofreading communications for internal and external audiences, along with various other duties performed by the MarCom Department. This position is 20 hours per week (8-10 hours on campus and remaining hours are remote.)

Responsibilities:
Edit, format, and send all external emails for the School

Research and write stories for website and various publications with our target audience in mind

Gather information, including interviewing students, teachers, parents, and alumni for website content, press releases, weekly and monthly newsletters, school magazine, blogs, and other school publications and/or needs

Attend school events and activities for photos and video

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Minimum 2+ years of marketing and communications experience preferred

Well organized with excellent writing, editing, and time-management skills

Experience with photography and videography preferred

Familiarity with programs such as Word, Photoshop, InDesign, Content Management System (CMS)-based website software, Google Suite, and video editing software
