Support the development and execution of Visa's proactive storytelling agenda across markets, products and business lines
Support financial communications, including quarterly earnings, investor-adjacent messaging and other business milestones
Partner with the business and economic insights team to identify and shape data-driven storytelling opportunities
Draft, edit and refine press releases, executive talking points, media pitches and Q&A documents
Lead direct media engagement, including pitching, briefing and building relationships with financial, business and trade press
Write, pitch or execute communications directly when timing or capacity requires
Partner with senior communications leaders, Investor Relations, Finance, Legal and business unit leaders to align messaging
Connect global and regional communications teams to ensure consistency in Visa's growth narrative
Track the impact and effectiveness of financial communications and storytelling initiatives
Improve processes, tools and approaches for data storytelling and proactive media engagement
Requirements 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree, or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Minimum 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, ideally within a large, global, matrixed organization
Experience developing and executing financial communications strategies, including earnings-related or business-performance communications
Ability to translate complex financial and business data into clear, compelling narratives
Hands‑on media relations experience, including pitching and placement with business, financial and trade press
Excellent writing and editing skills, including drafting press releases, executive talking points, bylines and other communications materials
Experience partnering with senior executives and cross‑functional stakeholders, including Investor Relations and Finance
Ability to operate autonomously with judgment and discretion regarding sensitive financial information
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment
Exceptional communication, organizational and problem‑solving skills
Ability to influence without authority
Continuous‑improvement mindset and ability to identify gaps, recommend solutions and lead change
Ability to work at least 3 days in the office
Ability to travel 5–10% of the time
