Audition: Fannie Lou Hamer — One-Woman Gospel Musical

Kansas City Repertory Theatre is holding open auditions for FANNIE: The Music and Life of Fannie Lou Hamer. The role seeks a 40s–50s, Black, femme-presenting performer with a strong gospel/soul foundation to tell Fannie Lou Hamer's story through song and testimony.
The performer will lead the full arc of the piece in a one-woman show, with live band support and audience participation as needed. Auditions are scheduled with community partners in Kansas City.
