The position will be an integral part of the leadership team. The position will be located at the Dulles, VA campus. As the Capture Director you will lead the overall capture efforts, including investment strategy, supplier and contract partnerships, technical development, and customer relationships that align with division priorities. You will have exceptional communication skills to quickly understand what is required to win, develop compelling value propositions, and prepare strong business cases to leadership. You will thrive in a fast pace, competitive environment and lead briefings at the executive level and establishing NDAs, working with GSC, teaming, and sourcing.Primary job responsibilities include:Understand the customer marketplace, stakeholder customer organizations and budgets in order to identify market drivers and trends and develop strategies.Develop capture strategy and tactics to produce capture products such as competitive assessments, teaming strategies, and prices-to-win analysis results applied to improve competitive posture.Develop clear and concise Win Themes and Value Propositions for the capture.Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and functional organizations involved in program pursuit.Coordinate and collaborate with line of business development, business management, strategy, business and finance, contracts and global supply chain, technology and engineering offices and functions.Development and management of investment capture project funds, schedule, and execution.Meeting all security, organizational conflict of interest, export control, protection of proprietary information, and risk and opportunity management processesExceptional leadership and team-building skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with the customer, program management, business unit and supply base executives and functional managementWilling and able to travel as required.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with twelve (12) years of experience in Aerospace and DefenseFive (5) years of management or leadership experienceDemonstrated ability to communicate / coordinate / collaborate up, down and across all levels of a large organization.Demonstrated ability to create trusted relationships with customers, industry partners / suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Current Top-Secret/SCI clearance at the time of application.SAP clearable at the time of application.Preferred Qualifications:SAP clearedAdvanced Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) or Business disciplineProven ability to lead a high performing team with evidence of being able to create an inclusive work environment that attracts, retains, and inspires diverse and engaged teamsSelf-directed leader with exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) across all levels of the organization.Proficient with executive presentations and communicationEarned value management of complex multi-layer projects.Subcontract Management experienceExperience interfacing with senior management, peers, and employeesAptitude to develop and execute to strategy.Knowledge of the DoD acquisition processesThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
