The U.S. Department of Energy, NNSA Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation is hiring Team Lead Foreign Affairs Specialists across multiple sub-program offices in Washington, D.C. DNN is America's shield against nuclear and radiological attack and stops threats before they can reach U.S. Homeland through a Multi- Layered Defense.
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band level or GS grade level in the Federal Service, i.e.. EN-02 or NQ-12. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience that demonstrates the ability to support U.S. national security and foreign policy objectives through international engagement, coordination with foreign and domestic stakeholders, and program execution. This includes experience assisting with the planning, development, and implementation of programs or projects involving a wide range of international and domestic partners; supporting bilateral or multilateral initiatives; coordinating with U.S. government interagency and other stakeholders; conducting analysis to advance strategic objectives; contributing to outreach, training, or diplomatic engagements; and providing recommendations and expert advice to senior leadership on matters related to national security, foreign affairs, international cooperation, DOE or NNSA partnerships or agreements, or nonproliferation.
