The Role
OpenTrain is seeking experienced journalism professionals to evaluate AI-generated news content and workflows. You will apply expertise in reporting, news analysis, and editorial judgment across print and broadcast media.
The work focuses on assessing the quality, accuracy, rigor, and clarity of AI-generated journalistic material. This is a remote, part-time contractor opportunity for eligible professionals located in the United States.

What You'll Do
You will review AI-generated journalistic artifacts and compare responses using professional reporting and editorial standards. Your feedback will help improve the quality and reliability of AI-generated news content.
Evaluate AI-generated news stories, analyses, scripts, and other journalistic artifacts
Assess content for quality, accuracy, reporting rigor, and clarity of narration
Review story selection, source evaluation, fact interpretation, and presentation choices
Compare responses for editorial soundness and journalistic quality
Provide expert feedback on AI-generated news content and workflows
Requirements
Applicants must have at least four years of professional experience in reporting, journalism, news analysis, anchoring, staff writing, or a closely related news or journalism role. Practical experience with news writing, narration, or analysis is required.

Compensation and Work Arrangement
This is remote contract work for eligible professionals in the United States. The role requires a commitment of at least 20 hours per week.
Hourly pay range: $70-$110 USD
Maximum listed hourly rate: $110 USD
Minimum listed hourly rate: $70 USD
