This Production Technician role supports the Production & Technical Services Department. The position will be responsible for supporting a variety of manufacturing-related duties, including: product assembly, inventory management, order fulfillment, troubleshooting, and product modifications.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with product build and assembly of ChemDAQ's gas detection and monitoring systems

Work with Production Manager and Team Lead to prioritize product builds according to pre-established timelines and production schedules

Collaborate with Engineering and Production Teams to troubleshoot issues on an as needed basis

Organize product parts and assist with inventory management, as needed

Assist with the fulfillment of priority orders, including packaging product and preparing order for shipment

Other duties as assigned by management

Knowledge & Skills Required
Education and

training/experience

in manufacturing

Experience with soldering and modifying electronic components

Familiarity with Quality program and processes such as ISO 9001

Basic chemistry and/or electronic circuit experience (preferred)

Comfortable working independently and in a team environment

Detail oriented and well-organized

Self-starter capable of identifying problems and developing project plans to address those problems

Ability to read, comprehend and learn technical information quickly and apply knowledge to testing (e.g. manuals, procedures, instructions).
