Social Media Content Producer

Location: Downtown Lakeland, FL — In Office / Hybrid
Hours: 20–30 hours per week (To start with full-time potential)

About REHQ Social Media Content Producer REHQ is building the operating system for commercial real estate dealmakers - bringing property data, prospecting, CRM, automation, and AI together in one platform.
We're a growing software startup based in Lakeland, FL, and we're looking for someone to help us document the journey, build our audience, and make REHQ impossible to ignore online.
The Role We're looking for a Social Media Content Producer who lives and breathes short-form content.
This is not a traditional social media management position where you'll spend your entire day behind a laptop building content calendars.
We want someone whose instinct is to pull out their iPhone and start recording.
You'll work closely with our founder and team to capture what's actually happening inside REHQ—product launches, customer wins, founder thoughts, sales conversations, team moments, CRE education, behind-the-scenes footage, and everything in between.
Our philosophy is simple:
Document > Overproduce.
We want to consistently publish interesting, authentic content on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms while building a real following around REHQ and what we're creating.
What You’ll Do Be in the REHQ office part-time at least 3 days per week capturing & posting content
Consistently identify moments, ideas, conversations, and stories worth filming
Shoot short-form video primarily using an iPhone
Turn raw footage into Reels, TikToks, Shorts, Stories, and social posts
Develop hooks, concepts, series, and recurring content ideas
Work directly with our founder to capture founder-led content
Turn meetings, customer wins, product updates, and everyday office activity into content
Handle basic editing, captions, clipping, and publishing
Stay current on social trends, formats, hooks, and storytelling styles
Track what's working and continually produce more of it
Take ownership of the content engine rather than waiting to be told what to post
Who We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if:
You're naturally creative and constantly notice things that could become content
You're extremely comfortable filming people and directing someone on camera
You understand Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and modern internet culture
You know what makes someone stop scrolling
You can do light editing of content quickly in CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools
You're proactive, dependable, and have a strong work ethic
You're comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
You don't need every assignment perfectly defined before taking action
You'd rather publish 10 authentic pieces of content than spend a week producing one perfect video
You're excited about helping build a brand from the ground up
Experience is great, but taste, initiative, creativity, and work ethic matter more to us than a perfect résumé.
Schedule This is a 20–30 hour/week position with flexibility.
We expect at least 3 in‑office sessions per week in Lakeland , with additional hours potentially spent editing, planning, publishing, or working remotely.
The schedule may vary depending on what's happening at REHQ. Some weeks there may be a customer event, podcast, product launch, conference, or other opportunity worth capturing.
Compensation $20–$30+/hour , depending on experience and ability.
Approximately 20–30 hours per week , with the opportunity for the role and responsibilities to grow as REHQ grows.
