Market Coordinator
$29.42/hour; 37.5 hours/week
Closing Date: Until Filled
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field supplemented by three (3) years of relevant experience
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Event planning experience helpful
Hours may vary to accommodate events and includes some Saturdays
Valid South Carolina driver’s license
The Market Coordinator performs professional work planning, developing, and coordinating projects specific to the City Center Farmers Market and reports to the City Manager’s Office. Work also includes preparing and presenting projects to media, committees, boards, and at various conferences and meetings, and researching and applying for applicable grants or other fundraising opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a skillset that includes effective problem-solving, creative thinking, self-motivation, organizational skills and a passion and dedication to the community. Candidates must possess proficiency with the Microsoft Suite and design publishing software programs. A working knowledge of social media platforms and marketing and design tools is helpful.
