FREELANCE ASSISTANT / ASSOCIATE DESIGNER - Ungaro

This is a position to assist VP of design in development of the line.
Assist in every aspect of design process from creating proto to showroom samples, and organizing and prepping a showroom for the market.
Create tech packages including embellishment layouts, print placement, etc.
Job Requirements:

Working knowledge of the apparel design, garment construction and development process
Must have experience with creating detailed tech pack development for overseas factories and spec knowledge using Excel
Must have experiences with creating digital layouts for Embellishment & Prints using Photoshop & Illustrator
Must be very detail oriented and organized
Efficient in sketching by hand and on a computer
Experience:

2+ years of experience as a designer
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design
Experience in dresses is a plus.
Hourly Rate: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience.
