Long Description
Introduction

As Sales Account Manager – EMEA NAO&PAO, you are responsible for the full scope of sales and promotion of NAO&PAO products within your assigned customer portfolio and business development segments. You develop existing and new product applications in line with Product Line strategy and objectives.

You build strong, long-term customer relationships to position the company as the preferred supplier. By leveraging market intelligence, you actively grow the business and identify new opportunities. Through your commercial drive and strategic focus, you maximize profitability and contribute directly to the company’s sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and promotion of NAO&PAO products and applications:

You drive sales in line with short- and long-term business and sales plans

You develop new business through customer visits, networking, and identifying new opportunities

You manage and grow relationships with existing customers

Commercial management:

You negotiate within your assigned territory and recommend commercial agreements

You manage pricing within your authority and seek approval for any deviations

You prepare quotations and submit them for approval in line with procedures

You support the collection process and ensure proper use of payment instruments

Customer management and support:

You handle customer requests in a timely and efficient manner

You resolve complaints and provide effective problem-solving support

You gather necessary customer financial information when required

Product and market development:

You promote the full product range to existing and potential customers

You introduce new and developmental products and identify alternative applications

Market intelligence and reporting:

You collect and share market insights, including competitor activity, supply and demand, pricing trends, and economic developments

You deliver regular progress reports on sales, markets, customers, and applications

You provide accurate input to forecasts and the annual sales budget

Internal collaboration and coordination:

You provide clear information to all supporting departments for ensuring efficient operations

You manage and guide local distributors and share relevant market insights and sales strategies

Profile

You have a degree in chemistry, business management, or equivalent by experience

You bring 5–10 years of relevant Key Account or Global Account experience

You demonstrate ambition, you are organized, and structured

You take initiative, focus on results, and continuously look for improvement

You communicate clearly and negotiate effectively

You are proficient in tools such as Office 365, SAP/APO, Vendavo, and CRM systems

You are fluent in English and German (spoken and written); any additional languages are a plus

You are willing to travel frequently (up to 30%)
