Position Description Pitch, develop and produce social media content
Manage NewsNation's YouTube channel and social channels, reaching millions of followers
Develop multimedia storytelling in collaboration with editors, writers and reporters
Use analytics to evaluate content performance and suggest improvements to tactics
Use AI and emerging technologies to produce content and engage with audiences
Keep up to date on the latest trends and emerging stories to share with the larger team
Train staff members on social media best practices, use of social tools and other tactics
Qualifications Experience creating social content ranging from graphics to video for large brands or media outlets
Expertise with YouTube, including thumbnail and title best practices preferred
Strong writing skills and ability to maintain a consistent brand voice
Good editorial judgement in content selection and adaptation based on the platform
Ability to quickly edit video and photos in high-pressure situations
Knowledge of data and analytics and demonstrated ability to use that data to make decisions
Good communicator who can work collaboratively
Experience using Adobe Suite, including Premier and Photoshop, preferred
Journalism or news background preferred but not required
Experience producing for or directing on-camera talent a plus
Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 #LI On-site
This position is in-office in our Chicago or New York locations. Early morning, late night and/or weekend shifts may be required.
