About Us

Jalin Siu is a sibling-led YouTube channel with videos that are personality-driven, comedic, and built around the dynamic between the four siblings. We make everything from everyday vlogs and challenges to more structured, episodic videos with a strong beginning, middle, and end.

We’re looking for a YouTube Video Editor who understands storytelling, comedic timing, pacing, and what makes people want to keep watching.

This isn’t a role where we’re looking for someone to cut footage together. We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands YouTube storytelling, comedy, pacing, and personality — and can take hours of footage and find the story within it.

What You’ll Do

Edit long-form YouTube videos, typically 18–25 minutes, from raw footage through final delivery

Find the strongest story, funniest moments, and best sibling dynamics within large amounts of footage

Build engaging pacing and narrative structure rather than simply following the order things happened

Use music, SFX, graphics, sound design, and visual edits intentionally to enhance the story and comedy

Make creative editorial decisions while maintaining the personality and voice of the channel

Collaborate with Jalin and team through cuts and revisions

Keep projects organized and consistently meet deadlines

What We’re Looking For

Experience editing long-form YouTube or comparable digital content

A portfolio that demonstrates strong storytelling, pacing, and comedic timing

Experience with personality-driven, comedy, vlog, challenge, or similar content

Strong instincts for music, SFX, and sound design

Someone who can make creative decisions independently and understands why a moment works, not just how to edit it

Organized, reliable, communicative, and comfortable working independently

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve

Bonus: After Effects / motion graphics experience and experience working directly with creators.

The channel has grown to over 1.9M subscribers , and we’re continuing to develop both our regular YouTube content and more ambitious, structured projects.

We’re open to full-time, part-time, freelance, or contract arrangements depending on the right candidate and fit.
