Senior Copywriter

LifeWise Academy Inc · Hilliard, OH, USA ·

Pay:
$75,000-$75,000/yr
Job type:
Full Time

Decades ago, our nation systematically removed Bible education from the public school day. LifeWise Academy is bringing it back. Under a little-known Supreme Court ruling, LifeWise empowers communities to provide Bible education for their public school students DURING SCHOOL HOURS. Tens of thousands of public school students attend LifeWise Bible classes each week.

We believe released time is the greatest missed opportunity of the church in America to reach the next generation. But we want to change that and we need your help!

Job Description
About You

You love Jesus. You love kids. You are mission-driven, relationship-minded and motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. You bring excellence to your work, communicate effectively and take ownership of whatever is in front of you.

You thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment and are comfortable wearing multiple hats. You are adaptable, collaborative and willing to jump in wherever needed—whether that means building relationships, solving problems, creating new opportunities or supporting others to move an important initiative forward.

You think beyond your individual role and look for ways to make the entire team and organization stronger. You approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, work well with others and aren't afraid to take initiative when you see an opportunity to advance the mission.

At the end of the day, you do what it takes to get things done. Above all, you know this isn’t just your career. It’s a chance to do something meaningful. A chance to serve others. And a chance to make a life-changing impact on students with the gospel.

About the Job

LifeWise Academy is seeking a gospel-centered, strategic and highly skilled Senior Copywriter to own and evolve the voice of LifeWise marketing.

You’ll be instrumental in helping define the LifeWise voice.

This role will translate marketing strategy into clear, human and persuasive messaging across advertising, digital marketing, social media, email, web, print, video and other channels. You'll write everything from a three-word campaign headline to a multi-email journey—and understand that great copy starts with knowing exactly who you’re talking to and what you want them to do.

As LifeWise grows, you’ll also help build the messaging systems that allow our organization to communicate effectively at scale. You’ll become a thought leader on our audiences, evolve our marketing voice based on what resonates and develop AI-powered tools and resources that help teams across LifeWise create better, more consistent communication.

Ultimately, you’ll help answer two questions for LifeWise marketing: Who are we talking to? And how should we say it?
