Senior Medical Communications Writer responsible for developing and editing scientific publications related to Rhythm's R&D and therapeutic areas, supporting overall publication strategy.
Responsibilities
Conducting literature reviews
Managing freelance writers and vendors
Reviewing data for accuracy
Producing peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts, posters, and presentation materials
Supporting internal educational content and conference reports
Requirements
BS/BA in a scientific discipline (advanced degree preferred)
6+ years of experience including at least 2 years in pharma
Proven scientific writing skills
Familiarity with drug development, clinical research, and biostatistics
Preferred qualifications
Experience in obesity or rare diseases
High-value specifics
Focus on rare neuroendocrine diseases
Familiarity with drug development stages
GxP standards
Cross-functional collaboration with medical affairs, clinical, and statistical teams
Work setup
Based in Boston with hybrid work model, some travel expected.
