User Experience Design Specialist Job at Virtual Vocations Inc in New York

To support mobile platform and product development teams, the full-time User Experience Design Specialist will create and refine UI components for mobile design systems, conduct user research, and develop UI prototypes, working in a hybrid model from Palo Alto or San Ramon, CA.
Key responsibilities:

Create and evaluate UI components for mobile design systems on Android and iOS
Conduct user research and usability studies to inform design decisions and validate concepts
Develop detailed mobile UI product specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and feasibility

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Design, Digital Media, or a related field, with five years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with three years of experience
Experience designing reusable mobile native UI Software Components adhering to the SAP Design System
Proficiency in creating and maintaining Figma UI Kit Libraries and using tools like Android Studio or Xcode
Knowledge of UI Technologies for Jetpack Compose (Android) or SwiftUI (iOS)
Experience with user research methodologies, including heuristic evaluations and A/B testing
