RETINA SURGEON NEEDED IN KANSAS CITY, MO
What size is the company, (revenue or employees) how many locations etc.?

4 retina physicians/surgeons. 4 locations (2 in St. Louis County, 1 in St. Charles County 1 in Franklin County)

Can you tell me a little about the culture of the company – and any differentiators that may help us in attracting high quality candidates when we are searching?

In practice since 1999; very busy 4 physician practice that is looking for a talented board certified/eligible retina surgeon to join; has developed deep relationships with a large group of private practice referring ophthalmologist/optometrist in the community who entrust their patients to our professional care.

What type of patients will the MD be seeing?

Medical and Surgical Retina/Vitreous

How many patients per day?

40-50

What type of technician/scribe support will the Ophthalmologist have initially and when he/she gets up to speed?

Full staffing for each clinic; 3-5 technicians to assist physician in clinic with patient work ups, OCT, photography, treatments. Number of technicians vary on the case load for the day. Circulator/technician to be present with the physician in clinic to assist with patient’s exam, treatments, etc.

What EMR do you have?

Nextech MDIntellesys.

Is it mandatory that they have experience with that EMR?

No

40 hours (clinic and surgery)

Shared Call

Surgery center, hospital

Initial zoom interview, then onsite paid visit.
