ABOUT THE ROLE
FRĒDA SALVADOR is seeking a Junior Designer to support the design and development of footwear and accessories collections. This role is highly execution-focused, working closely with the Senior Designer and founders to bring seasonal concepts to life with clarity, precision, and attention to detail.

You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day design process—from CADs and updates to sample tracking and meeting preparation—ensuring the team can move efficiently and stay aligned. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle while building a strong foundation in footwear and accessories design.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, highly organized, and excited to contribute within a collaborative, design-led environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design Support & Execution

Support the development of seasonal collections across footwear and accessories

Create, update, and maintain CADs, sketches, and technical design files

Assist in translating design direction into clear, organized materials for development

Help prepare design presentations and decks for key milestones

Process & Organization

Track design updates, materials, and changes throughout the development process

Maintain organized records of styles, revisions, and seasonal assets

Support calendar milestones by ensuring deliverables are prepared and up to date

Sample & Development Support

Assist in reviewing prototypes and samples, taking notes and tracking revisions

Partner with Product Development to ensure accuracy and follow-through on updates

Help ensure design intent is clearly communicated and maintained

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the Senior Designer, Product Development, and Merchandising teams

Support communication across teams to keep projects moving efficiently

Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment

QUALIFICATIONS

1–3 years of experience in footwear and/or accessories design (or strong internships)

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and design tools

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Basic understanding of materials and construction is a plus

Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment

Strong aesthetic and interest in fashion, design, and craftsmanship
