Ukrainian Language Editor

The part-time Contractor Ukrainian Language Editor will manage the editing, proofreading, and substantive editing of reports and documents translated from English into Ukrainian, ensuring accuracy and clarity while working remotely.
Key responsibilities

Provide substantive editing and proofreading of various materials translated from English into Ukrainian
Improve clarity, readability, and structure of Ukrainian-language texts while preserving original meaning
Ensure consistent use of terminology and correct spelling, grammar, and syntax in Ukrainian documents

Required qualifications

Native-level proficiency in Ukrainian with excellent command of grammar and writing conventions
Strong written English skills to compare translations against source documents
Professional experience in editing and proofreading Ukrainian-language reports or publications
Experience with texts translated from English into Ukrainian in relevant contexts
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while incorporating feedback efficiently
