Assistant Product Manager – Product Development Department (Toys, Arts & Crafts, Consumer Products)

We're growing our Product Development team and looking for a hands-on Assistant Product Manager who thrives on organization, collaboration, creativity, trends and turning ideas into children's products. This role is for someone looking to expand their experience in marketing and PD, and manage physical products sold in top retailers worldwide. We are looking for someone with previous experience in toy, craft, or related consumer product categories.
Working closely with our U.S., France, and Asian teams, you'll assist in managing various products from concept through launch by supporting research, specifications, sampling, commercial readiness, and cross-functional communication.
What You'll Do:

Help manage toys product lifecycle from concept stage through retail launch
Work with upper management to coordinate project milestones, identify risks or information gaps.
Organize and prepare product line lists, product specifications, production briefs and commercial information
Support seasonal line sales materials and product information
Conduct trend and market research
Analyze product performance and category opportunities
Manage product samples, organize PD supplies, and arrange sample orders for customers, tradeshow, and marketing requests
Create product specifications for sourcing and quotation requests
Qualifications:

1-2 years in Product Management or Brand Management experience for toys, crafts, or related category
Consumer products experience (toy industry preferred)
Strong Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills
Strong organizational abilities
Additional Adobe software experience is a plus
Excellent communication and project coordination skills
Passion for art & crafts, children's products, and entertainment licensing
Experience working with consumer product testing and labeling requirements
Strong eye for emerging trends across social media and retail
Interest to work on both boy and girl-leaning brands and products for kids 3 years and up
Creative skills to assist with samples, instruction manuals, and product demonstrations
