Production Operations at Televisa Univision is looking for an Audio 1 Operator to join our team!

YOUR DAY-DAY:
(aka Responsibilities)

OperationalknowledgeofDigitalandAnalogaudioconsolesandperipheral equipmentincludingpatch baysandrouters

Setting up, checking and ensuring that all microphones, audio and media playback are adjusted for proper VU levels andequalization

IFB mix minus, Telos Systems, COMREX and Cleanfeed

Design and load in of all Studio and Exterior PA equipment

Coordination of all RF/Wireless equipment (i.e.microphones, IFB and PL) aswell as studio foldbackwithAudio Assistant(A-2) or Floor Manager

Provideimmediatesolutionsin the event ofequipmentor other audioproblems

YOU HAVE:
(aka Qualifications)

Bachelor’s Degree in television production or equivalent work experience

Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating systems

3-5 years of experience in control room broadcast facility

4+ years ofaudioexperiencein a livetelevisionenvironment

Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)

Strongknowledge and understanding of broadcast andproduction technology

Studio and Remote production experience

Abilitytomulti-task and react quickly during dailybroadcasts

As this position supports 24x7 operation, candidate must, in addition to being able to work regular hours, have on-call availability, and flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed and without advance notice. Additionally, candidate may be required to work on site for extended periods of time to provide coverage in special circumstances, such as, during tropical storm/hurricane.
