Citieffe USA is seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to lead U.S. marketing for its orthopedic trauma portfolio from our South Florida office. This position will oversee education, clinical content, marketing materials, events, product launches, KOL relationships, market analysis, and sales support.
The Marketing Manager will work closely with surgeons, the U.S. sales organization, distributors, independent agencies, Citieffe headquarters, and the global marketing team to increase product awareness, adoption, and commercial growth.
Orthopedic industry experience is required. Orthopedic trauma experience is strongly preferred. Clinical operating-room exposure and/or orthopedic sales experience are preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesEducation and Training Lead education for the internal sales team, distributors, independent agencies, surgeons, and other clinical stakeholders.
Develop and deliver training on Citieffe products, clinical applications, surgical techniques, competitive positioning, sales messaging, and objection handling.
Plan and coordinate surgeon education, workshops, hands-on training, webinars, and surgical or cadaveric labs at the local, regional, and national levels.
Ensure educational programs support product launches, product adoption, and sales growth.
Clinical Education and Evidence Collect and organize clinical data, case reports, outcomes, images, and supporting documentation.
Help develop clinical papers, white papers, internal studies, and other evidence-based materials.
Work with surgeons and clinical teams to obtain product feedback, document clinical experiences, and identify unmet needs.
Coordinate the review and approved use of clinical cases, product claims, testimonials, and supporting data.
Marketing Materials and Global Coordination Maintain a product-by-product inventory of all required marketing, educational, clinical, and sales materials.
Identify missing or outdated materials and work closely with Citieffe headquarters and the Italian marketing team to obtain, update, or develop them for the U.S. market.
Ensure sales representatives, distributors, and agencies have current presentations, brochures, digital content, clinical resources, and product-launch tools.
Maintain consistent Citieffe branding, messaging, and product positioning.
Collaborate with Citieffe headquarters and the global marketing team on U.S. marketing needs, priorities, materials, and initiatives.
Events and Relationship Development Plan and execute annual events, conventions, professional-society meetings, local and regional workshops, training labs, sales meetings, and customer programs.
Host and support surgeon dinners, sales-representative dinners, distributor meetings, and other relationship-building events that advance Citieffe’s objectives.
Coordinate event schedules, attendees, exhibits, demonstrations, materials, leads, and follow-up activities.
Distributor and Agency Onboarding Lead the marketing, product, and sales-education portions of onboarding new distributors and independent agencies.
Provide new partners with the training, materials, messaging, and support needed to represent Citieffe effectively.
Maintain ongoing communication with distribution partners and ensure they remain informed about products, launches, clinical developments, and company priorities.
Product Launches and Field Commercialization Support U.S. product launches from initial preparation through field rollout and follow-up.
Develop positioning, messaging, promotional plans, customer targeting, launch materials, and training.
Coordinate with the sales team, headquarters, distributors, and agencies to ensure products are introduced effectively and supported in the field.
Monitor adoption, collect field feedback, identify obstacles, and adjust launch activities as needed.
Key Opinion Leader Management Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and other influential orthopedic surgeons.
Maintain a clear KOL plan identifying each surgeon’s projects, responsibilities, activities, and company objectives.
Coordinate KOL participation in education, product development, clinical evidence, evaluations, events, and product launches.
Track commitments, deliverables, results, and next steps for each KOL initiative.
Market Intelligence and Product Pipeline Monitor orthopedic market dynamics, customer needs, competitive activity, clinical trends, and gaps in the current portfolio.
Gather input from surgeons, sales representatives, distributors, agencies, and customers.
Translate market feedback into practical recommendations for existing products and the future product pipeline.
Present product opportunities, unmet needs, and market recommendations to U.S. leadership and Citieffe headquarters.
Support the sales organization with training, marketing tools, customer programs, field activities, and account-specific initiatives.
Help identify target accounts, product-conversion opportunities, and programs that increase adoption and revenue.
Gather field feedback and translate it into education, marketing, product-launch, and portfolio decisions.
Regulatory, Quality, and Compliance Work with regulatory, quality, and clinical teams to ensure marketing materials, product claims, clinical content, and promotional activities meet applicable company and regulatory requirements.
Ensure materials and activities complete the appropriate internal review and approval process before use.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, business, life sciences, or a related field.
At least five years of orthopedic medical-device experience.
Strong knowledge of orthopedic products, clinical environments, and operating-room workflows.
Demonstrated experience with education, surgeon engagement, product launches, events, KOL management, and sales support.
Strong communication, project-management, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate internal, field, and international teams.
Ability to work from Citieffe USA’s office in Weston, Florida.
Ability to travel up to 30%, including occasional weekends for events, training programs, and annual meetings.
Preferred Qualifications Experience working with surgeons, distributors, independent agencies, surgical labs, global marketing teams, and international headquarters.
