The San Francisco Chronicle seeks an editor to expand real-time coverage and oversee our live news operation in San Francisco. This editor will monitor, assign and edit breaking news and help uplevel our live coverage with rolling updates, real-time explainers, event coverage and emerging formats.
They will drive audience-focused approaches, test new storytelling tools, and lead live-blog initiatives while collaborating with senior leadership and the audience team.
