Who you are: Acts as the business lead for the agency team andis responsible forallfacetsof assigned client business. The VP, Group AccountDirectorcarries out the client’s vision and advocates of agency solutions by ensuring proper alignment of resources to deliver against it. They lead cross-functional teams to delivergreat workand client satisfaction across multiple accounts. The drive organic growth and growth of each of their account folks. Execute on company goals likewecentricity, excellence and convergence.
Essential functions of the job include but is not limited to: Tactical Management Directs account team to oversee tactics
Provides guidance to high-profile and/or new strategy/deliverables
Client Management Develops working relationships with director-level client partners as well as core brand team
Touches base with senior-level clients regularly to ferret out any opportunities or issues early
Demonstrates ability to pick up the phone and talk to any level of client at any time regardless of daily interactions
Develops andmaintainssenior-level relationships at agency-of-record account(s)
May be called upon to step in (on an ad hoc basis) to assistwith certain situations on other account(s)
Accountable for the forecasting,monthlyand annual revenue recognition of assigned accounts
Providesongoing guidance to staff for pricing, revisions, and forecasting
Alerts SVP/VP Accounts to upsides/downsides related to revenue or forecasting
Reports early and often on any changes to financial picture
Leads agency understanding of financial implications regardingjobs/accounts
Ensures that issues regardingclients/jobs are identified as early as possible and provides a rationale and guidance on next steps
Product Knowledge Understands product,categoryand competition so that can easily jump into any strategic discussion
Providessolid insights to strategic development process to internal and external teams
Expert on one or more industry segments
Has or develops deep familiarity with client’s market, including disease state, treating clinicians and influencers and their corresponding professional societies, competitive companies and technologies, and current and future state of treatment
Consistently is a go-to person for business insights
Understands product, category, and competition to easily jump into any strategic discussion
Draws upon analogs across the agency to share best practices/ideas
Business Development Expands agency opportunities to other client departments or divisions
Participates actively in business development initiatives representingthe account management team
Mentors junior staff and encourages participation
Continues to hone and perfect presentation style and agency responses to typical questions
Maintains contact and open dialogue with an ongoing list of senior-level executives in the industry to mine for new business
Participates in networking events
Identifiesinline opportunities for sister companies
Leadership & Agency Advocacy Motivates and mentors account team to remain positive and push the boundaries
Works cross departmentally to ensure success of daily operations and manages interdepartmental issues
Supports and representsthe agency’s point of view at the highest levels of the client organization
Identifiesopportunities across the agency to help close gaps
Provides leadership in difficult and challenging circumstances and creates an environment for honest conversations, business growthand issues mitigation
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree
Other Required: May require travel domestically and/or internationally including overnight stays
Preferred: 13 years of agency experience; experience successfully managing and growing $1M+ pharma/healthcare accounts

Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.

$170,000— $200,000 USD
