We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and organized Social Media Manager for an iconic, globally recognized luxury house with a famously discerning eye and a devoted, taste-making audience. This position will be primarily responsible for driving engagement across all existing channels and identifying emerging social trends to execute. This will be achieved with a strong vision for compelling and innovative branded content, as well as a sophisticated understanding of how community-driven content can support brand awareness and audience connection.

To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for and understanding of consumer behavior, a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, and a track record of successful social media management.

Role Scope & Responsibilities

Own day-to-day management of the company's primary social channels, becoming a familiar face and voice to the audience.

Support social strategies to increase followers, engagement, and conversion rates.

Own the content calendar and identify social stories and content that will resonate with the brand's audience.

In partnership with the creative team, generate engaging content that is on-brand but leading in terms of trends and innovation.

Responsible for publishing and sharing content across channels.

Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.

Work closely with the VP to ensure organic and paid social media content is driving both brand awareness and conversion.

Expand on best practices while also testing new social trends to keep content fresh and engaging.

Support the setting of KPIs and benchmarks, own reporting on social metrics and analytics, and make timely, informed suggestions on how to optimize.

Own all aspects of community management, including posting, responding to queries in a timely manner, escalating issues and recurring themes, client care questions, responding to comments, and participating in conversations that inspire brand loyalty and customer connection.

Monitor social SEO and platform traffic metrics.

Partner with marketing and creative teams on cross-channel campaigns.

Partner with cross-functional teams including creative, merchandising, e-commerce, and legal.

Stay current with technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.

Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly social media reports.

Manage DMs, comments, and communication with other accounts and profiles across social channels.

Desired Education, Experience & Skills

3–5 years of social media experience.

Experience working with luxury brands, jewelry, fashion, lifestyle, and beauty preferred.

Experience with social media management and analytics tools such as Asana and Sprout Social.

Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools a plus.

Ability to take direction, multi-task, and manage shifting priorities.

Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency and execute at a fast pace.

Excellent organization and attention to detail.

Ability to build cross-functional partnerships.

Ability to give concise and actionable feedback to various levels.

Compensation: $95,000-$110,000

This is a full-time, in-office position (5 days per week) based in our New York City office.
