Neighbor Advocacy & Public Affairs Specialist

Second Harvest Heartland is seeking a Public Affairs Neighbor Advocacy Specialist to engage with neighbors on anti-hunger policy at state and federal levels. The role trains and supports neighbors, gathers stories, and informs the Public Affairs Team. Travel and some evening/weekend work are required.
You will work across departments to connect neighbors with resources and advocacy opportunities while helping shape policy priorities that advance hunger relief in Minnesota and nearby regions.
