A growing management consulting and accounting advisory firm is looking for an experienced Advisory Managing Director to join its leadership team in San Diego or San Francisco.
The firm advises high-profile pre-IPO, public and private equity-backed companies on complex financial, accounting and operational matters, including M&A, IPOs, carve-outs, spin-offs, restructuring and process improvement.
This is a senior leadership opportunity combining client delivery, relationship management, business development and team leadership, with a key role in expanding the firm's presence across the California market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex accounting advisory and consulting engagements
- Develop and manage relationships with senior executives, investors and key stakeholders
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Contribute to practice growth, thought leadership and strategic initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of accounting advisory, audit or management consulting experience
- Active CPA license
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
- Background within Big 4.
- Demonstrated business development and client relationship experience
- Experience across multiple industries; Technology, Software, Life Sciences, Healthcare or Manufacturing preferred
