Deputy Editor, Social Impact Newsroom

Street Sense Media is seeking a full-time Deputy Editor to oversee print and digital production for our bi-weekly publication in Washington, DC. The position collaborates with editors, writers, photographers and designers.
The ideal candidate has strong journalism ethics, excellent writing, and experience managing deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. BA/BS required; nonprofit newsroom experience preferred.
