General Manager, Sales & Marketing position available in the Plymouth, Michigan area working at our client location who is an established manufacturer.
Salary range is $130k to $140k. This is a direct hire opportunity.Client company benefits available
General Manager Duties for the General Manager, Sales & Marketing position:
- Develops annual sales and marketing plan, implementation. execution of sales and marketing
- Will recommend sales strategies for improvement
- Utilizes market research and competitor analyses
- Provides leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations and partnerships
- Will create and maintain budget
- Oversees and directs market research.
- Will build, develop and manage the sales and marketing
- Develop staff in both technical and professional skills
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills, abilities and education/experience required for the General Manager, Sales & Marketing position:
- At least 5 years in sales leading a global team
- Bachelor’s degree in a related business field, or equivalent experience
- Japanese business culture understanding
- Conversational fluent language skills in Japanese and English preferred
- Excellent oral/written communication, presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to adapt and be productive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of international trade
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Must have valid driver’s license
