The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with high-voltage DC power supplies, high-power RF/analog systems, PCBA design and manufacturing, electrical testing, reliability engineering, and supplier quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support NPI and productization of advanced power supply and electrical systems used in semiconductor equipment.

  • Apply electrical, systems, quality, and reliability engineering principles to product and component issues throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Work with engineering teams and suppliers on high-voltage DC power supplies, high-power RF systems, analog/digital circuitry, and PCBAs.

  • Support RF/DC testing, validation, qualification, and test fixture development and management.

  • Develop and improve test processes, fixtures, and equipment to ensure repeatable product performance.

  • Evaluate electrical performance including RF frequencies, impedance, signal characteristics, and power delivery.

  • Collaborate with design teams and suppliers to resolve technical, quality, reliability, and manufacturing issues.

  • Support supplier qualification, audits, technical assessments, RCCA, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Review and improve supplier Quality Systems, Processes of Record (POR), test methods, and manufacturing processes.

  • Apply reliability engineering methods including Reliability Block Diagrams, Accelerated Life Testing, Fault Insertion, Weibull analysis, and Design for Reliability.

  • Support qualification of automated assembly and test equipment.

  • Analyze manufacturing and test data using SPC, gauge studies, and statistical methods.

  • Partner with suppliers to implement sustainable improvements in product and process performance.

  • Provide technical support across customer-facing teams, internal engineering organizations, quality teams, and external suppliers.

  • Perform program/project management activities as needed, including schedules, technical issues, actions, and deliverables.

  • Travel to supplier and manufacturing locations for audits, investigations, assessments, and improvement activities; travel expected to be less than 20%.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.

  • 8+ years of hands‑on experience with electrical power systems, DC power supplies, high‑power RF/analog systems, and PCBA design/manufacturing.

  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuitry and electrical system integration.

  • Experience with RF/DC testing, test fixtures, electrical validation, and qualification.

  • Knowledge of high‑voltage/high‑power electrical systems and power delivery.

  • Experience working with suppliers on technical issues, quality problems, RCCA, and manufacturing improvements.

  • Strong understanding of engineering documentation, change control, product qualification, and quality systems.

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical, component quality, reliability, and manufacturing issues.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across engineering, suppliers, quality, and program teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Semiconductor equipment or advanced manufacturing experience.

  • Experience with RF power systems, plasma applications, or power/plasma interactions.

  • Understanding of RF frequencies in the 1–60 MHz range.

  • Knowledge of impedance matching, Smith Charts, antennas, and vector network/vector signal analyzers.
