We're looking for a UI-focused Software Engineer to join our fully remote engineering team and help build the next generation of renewable energy software. You'll develop modern React applications, create intuitive user experiences, and build data-rich dashboards that support real engineering decisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys front-end development but also wants exposure to back-end technologies, AI-assisted development, and full-stack engineering over time.
Design and develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
Build reusable UI components, dashboards, forms, and data visualizations
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers in an agile environment
Integrate front-end applications with Node.js APIs and Python-based services
Debug application issues and improve performance, usability, and accessibility
Contribute to testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Utilize AI-assisted development tools while applying sound engineering principles
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Approximately 2+ years of professional software development experience
Strong experience with React
Experience building production web applications
Familiarity with Git, pull requests, testing, and modern development workflows
Experience with Python or Node.js
Familiarity with PostgreSQL or SQL databases
Experience with authentication, UI forms, and testing frameworks
Experience building dashboards, analytics platforms, or data visualization tools
Experience in renewable energy, engineering software, or AI-enabled applications
Work on software that directly impacts the future of renewable energy
Build products that solve complex engineering and analytics challenges—not consumer applications
Gain exposure to AI-assisted software development and modern technologies
