Entering their fourth season (Junction FC) and third season (Rhodies FC), both clubs host home matches at Nino Cantu Stadium. West Seattle Junction FC (men's team, USL League Two) and Rhodies FC (women's team, USL W League) deliver affordable, community-centered soccer experiences that bring neighbors together on matchday. The Photography & Videography Intern is a vital contributor to our visual storytelling and digital presence. Supporting both West Seattle Junction FC (USL League Two) and West Seattle Rhodies FC (USL W League), this role offers hands-on experience in sports content production. You will develop professional skills in capturing, editing, and archiving assets that define the club's public image, from live matchday coverage to cinematic player features. This role reports to the Director of Photography.
Responsibilities:
Capture professional-grade photo and video content at home matches, practices, and club events
Collaborate on the planning, filming, and editing of social media content
Produce cinematic highlights, player profiles, and behind-the-scenes promotional material
Provide high-quality photography for the official website and marketing campaigns
Manage and organize digital asset archives for efficient marketing team access
Support other creative projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager
Qualifications:
Applicants must be available to work in the West Seattle area for the season duration May - July 2027, including home matches.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong self-starter capable of working effectively with minimal supervision
Proven ability to troubleshoot and adapt within a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
Functional knowledge of DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, and audio
Enthusiasm for digital storytelling and sports media production
