The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong analytical and execution skills. They understand how to use customer insights, sales performance, and marketing data to identify growth opportunities, improve campaign effectiveness, and develop strategies that translate into measurable business results.
This role goes beyond traditional brand marketing. The focus is on understanding what drives customer behavior, identifying opportunities to improve store performance, and building effective marketing programs that attract new customers, encourage repeat visits, and increase customer lifetime value. Success will require close collaboration with retail operations and executive leadership, along with the ability to balance long-term strategy with hands-on execution.

Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, store-level performance, and campaign results to identify opportunities for growth and areas requiring improvement.
Partner closely with retail and operations leadership to understand the challenges and opportunities at individual locations and develop targeted strategies to improve performance.
Oversee marketing initiatives across digital channels, paid media, CRM, loyalty, promotions, email, in-store marketing, and other relevant customer touchpoints.
Develop and optimize customer acquisition and retention programs, using customer segmentation, targeting, and lifecycle marketing to improve engagement and repeat purchasing.

Develop testing and optimization strategies to improve campaign performance, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and overall marketing efficiency.
Ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with the customer experience, merchandising priorities, and broader retail objectives.
Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and evolving consumer preferences within Colorado's cannabis market to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
Work cross-functionally with executive leadership, retail operations, finance, and other key stakeholders to align marketing plans with company objectives.

Experience partnering with retail operations or other cross-functional teams to improve business performance.
A hands-on approach, with the ability to move between high-level strategy, performance analysis, and execution.
Strong business acumen and the ability to connect marketing initiatives to broader company goals and financial outcomes.
