Role Description
The Agency Producer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Greenfield, IN, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for prospecting and generating new personal and commercial insurance business through outbound calls, networking, referrals, and community engagement. Day-to-day tasks include conducting coverage reviews, preparing quotes, presenting insurance solutions, and guiding clients through policy selection and enrollment. The Agency Producer will manage a book of business by handling renewals, policy changes, and client inquiries, while maintaining accurate records in the agency management system. The role also involves collaborating with carriers, staying current on product offerings and underwriting guidelines, and supporting agency growth initiatives and local marketing activities.

Candidates should possess strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead follow-up, and closing new business.

Candidates should possess customer service and relationship management skills to build trust, handle inquiries, and support clients over time.

Candidates should possess organization and time management skills for managing multiple accounts, renewals, and documentation accurately.

Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.

Candidates should possess basic technology and office skills, including comfort with agency management systems, CRM tools, email, and standard office software.

Property & Casualty insurance license in Indiana (or willingness and ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).

Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or consultative sales is preferred but not strictly required.

High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in business, finance, or related fields is an advantage.
