High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience related to the area of assignment in a broadcast television, radio and emerging media environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

| Brief Summary of Work for this Position | Works directly with UNCW faculty and Media Production filming and editing teaching videos for digital distribution. Utilizes professional equipment to edit video, motion graphics, sound, music and stills to create a story/program/promotion that captures pre-production concepts and requests. Oversees the quality and progress for all aspects of production.., Researches equipment and software upgrades, recognizes the compatibilities/incompatibilities of software(s) and hardware(s) and any additional training that may be involved. Mentors and provides guidance as necessary to staff and students.
