CNN will premiere a new program focused on the economy, Issue #1, today at NoonET. The overall ongoing initiative includes the one-hour program all this week at Noon, as well as special reports throughout the day.

The hour-long program and the special reports will be anchored by Ali Velshi and Gerri Willis. Willis also anchored Financial Security Watch during the NoonET hour last month.

CNNMoney.com will also provide a platform for Issue #1, with online resources at a new web site, complementing the series.

Some issues that Issue #1 will focus on: the growing cost of goods, how the Fed decisions affect Americans and "green-collar" job growth.
