David Shuster Getting 4pm Hour?
Since he's returned, he has continued to contribute to Hardball as well as guest anchoring other programs. It appears now he may be settling into a new permanent gig. TVNewser received an anonymous tip yesterday saying, "David Shuster has been given the 4pm hour on MSNBC." Shuster has been anchoring at 4pmET this week. MSNBC does not generally comment on day time anchor changes. But an MSNBC insider tells TVNewser Shuster is taking over the hour, "at least through the elections but probably through the inauguration." The insider says Shuster will anchor from Washington, D.C. and cover politics, while Melissa Rehberger will anchor from New York and handle breaking news. • Earlier: David Shuster: "I Have No Bitterness, No Regrets" Email This Post |
