It was a strong showing for the Sunday public affairs shows on December 4. CBS’ “Face the Nation”–which has been see-sawing with NBC’s “Meet the Press” over the last few weeks in both total and demo viewers–placed first on both categories, with “MTP” placing second. ABC’s “This Week” placed third in both total and demo viewers, with “Fox News Sunday” and Univision’s “Al Punto” rounding out the list.

Every program except “MTP” was up double digits in both total and demo viewers compared to the same week last year. “MTP” was down double digits in both categories.
