The Assistant Studio Manager (ASM) position will be responsible for overseeing the sales processes and systems, meeting key performance metrics, the training, and developing of studio staff, and ensuring all front desk systems and operations are being carried out correctly and efficiently. Additional responsibilities include assisting the Senior Studio Manage.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with all studio operations including but not limited to inventory, maintenance, sales processes, technology, workout experience, personnel, customer service, and payroll
  • Perform ongoing training and development of Sales Associates
  • Manage staff schedule and shift-coverage when employees call out sick or have scheduling conflicts
  • Assist in leading monthly all staff and front desk meetings
  • Attend Monthly Webinars and the rollout and execution of all corporate sales promotions and fitness events
  • Lead and coach the sales team in new joins and heart rate monitor sales
  • Assist in the social media initiatives of the studio
  • Properly process administrative tasks: refunds, upgrades/downgrades, freezes, cancellations
  • Conduct daily MBO audits – all classes reconciled, contact logs/tasks completed, reports pulled
  • Reconcile declined memberships weekly
  • Implement studio-specific marketing ideas and strategies
  • Establish corporate partnerships within the community
  • Troubleshoot studio equipment such as OTConnect tablets, Check-In Tablets, Member HRM, etc.
  • Build and manage MBO class schedule
  • Ensure studio cleanliness
  • Maintain a flexible schedule
  • Promote an all-inclusive community
  • Maintain a judgment-free and positive environment
  • Must possess a high level of professionalism with the leadership team, direct reports, and members
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or ownership.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of management experience or OTF experience
  • 1-3 years of sales experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to achieve goals
  • Ability to listen and serve employees and members
  • Knowledge of the business Mission, Vision, and Values
